Jewel Database acts as data controller for accounts, applications, service usage and platform communications. Contact: contact@jeweldatabase.com.

We mainly process account data required to operate and secure the service: first name, last name, email, verified phone number and verification timestamp, encrypted password, language, account status, acceptance of terms, professional application details when provided, subscription and billing data, search history, favorites, imported scans/images, collections, reports, technical logs and support communications.

Matomo, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are not loaded. For authenticated accounts only, viewed page categories and searches are logged internally so authorized administrators can operate and improve the service. No IP address, user-agent, raw URL or tracking cookie is stored for this purpose. Detailed member activity is retained for 13 months.

Images submitted for visual search are processed to provide the service, display results, keep scan history according to the applicable plan and secure usage. They are not intended to be published without an action or authorization from the relevant user.

Data is accessible to authorized teams and strictly necessary providers for service operation: hosting, email, SMS phone verification, authentication, payment, storage, security, technical analytics and support. Access is limited to operational, contractual and legal needs.

Account data is retained for the duration of the account and then archived or deleted according to applicable obligations. A confirmed phone-number claim may be retained after account deletion to prevent repeated free-trial abuse. Billing data is retained according to accounting obligations. Scans, favorites, searches and histories follow plan limits. Security logs are retained for a period proportionate to security and evidence purposes.
